How or where did you first hear about Burning Man? |
When i lived in Ca. (SF Bay Area)some friends told me about this "experiment" that was happening of people trying to show that community can STILL happen,Self Expression and BE who we REALLY are. It was also a Venue for people to show their REAL creative side in what ever format that was and is. |

Non Burning man: a haunted house in Cali when it wasn't commercialized. The VA center in Salem,Or myriad school events most notable: AIDS quilt project in Ca when it was at DeAnza community College,Cupertino. Camp:Poly Paradise |

Top 10 reasons to go to Burning Man:
(or as many as you can think of) |
You get to be nekid as long, as as much as you wanna be. get to hang out with others doing the same. Get to work on the "no tan lines" concept you have the opportunity to meet possibly the best people you could have ever meet out side of possibly blood family finally, but not lastly, promote the idea that we as a global Creative village can be a community once again like in times before Commercialism.
relying on yourself to do what needs to be done for the greater good of the burn & each other. |
Top 10 things you don't like about Burning Man:
(or as many as you can think of) |
Sunburns likely in areas u didn't expect them in a "normal" environment. Playa dust in your nose and eyes. Having to Pee in a bottle or you'll pee in your tent(most people dont like it when you pee on their car wheels;)). wind burns in same areas. "Weekenders" Come on, if your going to come into our world, make a commitment Having to say "goodbye" to the best and koolest people you have EVER met in your life on the planet. |
BurningMan Experience: |
I went to the 09 "Bender" party in Mesa, and then Tuscon and loved the people (some more then others, but thats another story)because i feel like im not weird around them i feel "normal" what ever that means.I also recently attended Rebar Bender @ Coops Place. I have to agree with Scotto,Burning Man Changes your life. I cant say it enough, if you let it and have no expectations, Burning Man CAN and WILL change your life. |
